UCR Organization Charts Change Requests
Goal: Up-to-date, standardized campus and college/unit organization charts posted in one place on the web.
Process: Office of the Vice Chancellor Administration maintains the organizational chart web site content. The VCA IT teams serves as Webmaster. Each college or organizational unit notifies the VCA Office when adjustments are needed via the following process:
- Complete an Organization Chart Change Request Memo (click for link). Describe specifically the appropriate change needed. Have the form approved by the respective dean, vice chancellor, or chief financial officer.
- Attach an organization chart from the VCA website organizational charts online with proposed changes clearly marked.
- Send form and chart to: Latreace Cox in the Vice Chancellor, Administration office located at 4123 Hinderaker Hall or FAX to 8-2381.
- The VCA office will submit the formal request memorandum and supporting documents to the VCA IT team who will make changes to the on-line charts.
- The draft Organizational Chart(s) is then proofed by both the unit requesting the changes, and by a member of the IT team handling the website. This will ensure spelling, grammar, formatting, labeling, dates, shading, and any other items are correct. PLEASE NOTE: Prior to posting the final version of the new requested organizational chart, the Chart(s) modifications will be made at all chart levels in the system: Campus Org, College Org, Dept Org, etc...
- Once all have agreed via an email that the new proposed on-line organizational chart(s) is correct, the webmaster will post it at:
http://fbo.ucr.edu/orgcharts.html
